The Aftermath of The Chronoplast

The original Soul Reaver storyline also included a battle between Raziel and Kain in the Chronoplast. However, rather than escaping into Nosgoth's past, Kain would have instead been wounded by Raziel and fled to The_Mountain_Retreat. This partial victory would have bestowed the Shift-at-Will ability upon Raziel, allowing him to access even more of the game world.

It is believed that after leaving the Chronoplast, Raziel would have been directed by The Elder God to the Human Citadel in order to enter The_Undercity_and_The_Temple and fight The_Priestess.

There are no verified screenshots of the original Chronoplast battle sequence, but two images appear to depict Raziel receiving a new ability in its main chamber.
