The Priestess

The Priestess was to have been the boss of The Undercity and The Temple deleted area beneath the Human Citadel. Along with her cult of vampire-worshippers, she would have infected the Citadel with a malignant influence.

Raziel's battle with The Priestess was described by several Crystal Dynamics employees as being based on her summoning monsters while staying out of reach high on a ledge. Defeating her would have bestowed the similar Possession ability upon Raziel. It would also have removed her influence from the Citadel; what effect this would have had on it (if any) is uncertain.

No screenshots of The Priestess are known to exist, although she is depicted in concept art and makes a brief appearance in Top Cow's Soul Reaver comic book. In addition, there is an image of a woman on the puzzle block in the "chapel" room of the game which may also be The Priestess.
