Alternate Aerie Exit Cinematic

Soul Reaver 2 contains an alternate version of one of the game's cinematic sequences, in which Raziel - having witnessed the slaughter of Janos Audron - gazes down on the frozen land from the ruins of Janos' Aerie, then departs it forever.

The alternate cinematic is quite short, and has no dialogue or other sound. It can be triggered by re-entering the Aerie and exiting it again. This can be accomplished by using the cheat device flight code (see Codes_(Playstation_2_Cheat_Device)) or a hacked savegame (see Behind_the_Scenes_-_The_Aerie).

It is believed that the early version of the cinematic was replaced by one that appeared similar to the Soul Reaver Chronoplast FMV of Raziel wielding The_Amplified_Reaver to bring that imagery back into the continuity of the story.
